The Los Angeles County Democratic Party is currently at a major crossroads. We as Democrats have done a great job over the past couple of decades to make the Los Angeles County Democratic Party the most powerful political entity in the nation. Yet the party has not done enough in order to alleviate the major concerns people deal with on a daily basis. There is no solution in sight for affordable housing, homelessness is still rampant, we are nowhere near environmental security, and small businesses are over-regulated. Overall, accountability seems to be lacking in areas of our government. The Los Angeles County Democratic Party must do more not only to help the working class make ends meet but to ensure that they thrive and prosper in our great state. Though this is a Democratic Party race, everyone within AD 44  is still someway affected.  For this reason, we need the type of leadership at the County Central Committee who can take on tough tasks, pass resolutions that help everybody, and fight for issues that ensure that the Democratic Party of the Los Angeles County stands for justice and against injustice.
